It is highly recommended that you book an appointment, especially if you are visiting on the weekend. Having an appointment reduces wait time and ensures that we have an associate available to help you find your perfect outfit! While we are sometimes able to accommodate walk-ins there is not always a fitting room available.
What can I expect at my appointment?
There will be other shoppers in the store & other fitting rooms during your appointment. Your associate may also be assisting another appointment/customer during some or all of your booked appointment.
During your 45 minute appointment our associate will chat with you about your style, what you're looking for, budget and any other requirements. You will be shown our racks of beautiful dresses to select a variety to try on. After trying on some options we might choose some additional styles based on what you're liking. Our stylists are experienced, knowledgeable and excited to help you look and feel your best.
What should I bring?
In order to protect your future gown, we require the removal of all outdoor footwear before entering our gown and fitting room area. Please feel free to bring cozy socks or slippers to wear while in our store.
Do you offer onsite alterations or tailoring?
We do not offer alterations at our shop. This allows you to take your dress anywhere that is convenient for you! We are happy to offer a list of local alterations businesses, recommended to us by our clients. We are not affiliated with any of these businesses, and are not able to guarantee any services they provide.
I need a dress ASAP! Can you help?
All of our dresses in store are ready to wear! If you love it, you can walk out with the outfit of your dreams the same day. We stock sizes 00 to 20 and complementary shoes, jewelry and accessories. If you have a short timeline give us a call and we can let you know what we currently have available.
Can you order a different dress for me?
Don’t see the gown you love on our website? We are able to order in gowns from our designers as long as it is available! Email us at info@lacremestjacobs.com with the style number and details and we’ll let you know if it is available to order.

When should I start shopping?
We find that 6 months to 6 weeks is sufficient time for finding, styling, and if needed altering your perfect outfit.

Prom
When should I start shopping?
We have prom dresses in stock all year with the majority arriving by January. We recommend saying 'yes to the dress' by the end of March to give time for alterations before prom.

Grade 8 Graduation
When should I start shopping?
The majority of grad dresses arrive in our store by March.

Do you sell wedding dresses?

Do you carry bridesmaid dresses?
While we don’t offer traditional bridesmaid lines at our shop, some of our dresses may be suitable for bridesmaids. A small selection of our dresses and gowns are available in limited colour options, for multiple dress orders. Prices for these dresses are generally $400 and up.
